Course Description

This workshop introduces attendees to both individual and group factors that foster a productive and high-performing team environment. As part of the workshop, attendees will complete two individual assessments based on the Big Five Personality Model and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI Assessment).

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify factors associated with high job satisfaction, motivation, and performance.

  • Self-assess personality characteristics within the Big Five Personality model (Assessment*.)

  • Understand the relationship between high performance and personality.

  • Identify properties associated with high-performing teams.

  • Know characteristics of team Forming and Storming lifecycle stages and how to encourage a

    positive and productive team environment.

  • Self-assess personal conflict management style via the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode

    Instrument (TKI Assessment*) and understand how and when different styles can be effectively

    applied.
